A secret lover just left alone for the night

The Man Of The House will return
And all will seem normal
There will be a kiss
The question "How was your day" will be asked
Perhaps breakfast will be served
Perhaps she will "Make love" yet again
But before he arrives
I know she watches my departure
and awaits his arrival
The day will go along its merry way
Mine consisting of the things which are mine
Hers consisting of those which are hers
But our nights ...
...Ah. the nights belong to us
As we each hope that no one
Is the wiser
And the light is extinguished
at least for a time
