53 Week Photo Challenge: A New Year Self-portrait

Greetings—

It's a challenge ... a photo challenge, that is! Steven Payne over on Twitter laid down the gauntlet and presented his "53 Week Photo Challenge, 2012." After perusing the weekly themes I thought, "What the hell?"

So, here is my entry for the first week: "A New Year Self-portrait." For this one I took two iPhone photos, one of myself at my office desk and then I turned my head about 45∘for the second shot and then combined them both in Photoshop, placing me in the existing frame on my wall ... which contains a far different photo then this, I assure you!

If you think you'd like to give it a go, head on over to Steven's challenge page on Flickr and drop him a line. While you're at it, do give Steven a follow on Twitter. He's quite an interesting bloke ... even if he did cut his hair!

Good luck, my Friend. You're starting out with an interesting image. I like it.

Tell you what. You do the photography and I'll watch and see how you do; maybe I'll learn something... :-)
