Tired and happy among the
Leaves and cool, crisp air
I lie dream-like below the
Empty canopy
Awaken!
Yet all around nature dies
I smell happy scents of moss
And decay
As Eternity ponders its
Well-deserved detachment
Soon to hide below the frozen
Ground
Only to come around again
... and again
