Allan Saw in the RAW Photo Challenge: Drinking Glass

Greetings—

About a week ago Allan Saw told me in a Tweet: "It looks like it's your turn to choose the subject for the next photo challenge."

I looked at his message ... thought a moment ... looked to my right and, there it was: my big ole plastic tumbler, aka a drinking glass. Obviously I wasn't seeing it from the view shown below at the time but, with a little imagination, this is how I finally saw it and how I captured it ... from almost directly above.

If you think you'd like to give this challenge a go, simply click over to Allan's blog for details. And do also head on over to Twitter and give Allan a follow ... and don't be fooled by the striking resemblance to a certain elf from the North Pole on his avatar; it is, indeed, Mr. Saw and 'tis the season, after all ;-)

Slainte,

First thought was "Wooooo"! It needs a drink in it :)

Cool abstract shot man.

Jeez, the colors and lines here are just exquisite Gareth! What a great setup and capture. If you hadn't told us what the subject was, there is now way I would have been able to guess this. Great work, my talented friend!
