Fragments of Purity

Greetings—

We converse with our mournful desires
Under the setting sky
The twilight will approach
Evil and happy among the graves
Of our dreams realized
And our dreams unfulfilled
The fun has come ... the fun has gone
And yet is always there
Trusting, nameless
Turning away
The next life waiting
But what of the one here
And now ...
Of this, what will we make?

Love the colors and the late afternoon side lighting. I can even picture squirrels trying to get in to get at the feed that might be there. And if you look closely and let your imagination go with the flow one can see a small bird peeking up over the edge in the near corner watching you watching it... :-)

Simply composed, yet absolutely compelling piece here, Gareth! Top drawer, my friend. I love the gentle lighting and perspective you've shared of this scene with us.
