Greetings—
Today I have a shot from our backyard for you. Notice I don't say, "Garden," as ours is more akin to a jungle then a well manicured suburban showcase. During the Spring (which is when this was taken) we just never know what is going to pop up. For example, four years ago we went out and found we had a nice sized patch of wild black berries. Each new year also brings a variety of fungi and this was one of the species we found this year. And as we don't have a wealth of botanical knowledge no, we decided it would be best to not go all Epicurean with them.

It's good to see someone else searching in their own yard for that special setting of which to photograph. I'm always telling people that you don't have to go outside your own realm for photos. There are images all over your yard, you just need to look for them.
You, my Friend, proved this perfectly. Nice work and a very nice image... :-)
So glad you didn't eat them Gareth! Lovely image they make though! I was out walking yesterday and found many giant fungi, thought about grabbing a few shots but the mosquitoes were too massive! Nice to see you using your yard. I do that too when possible. :)
