Exclusion in Vision

Greetings—

Here's a blast from the past; was digging through the archive and found this shot of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Frat house on the Evanston campus of Northwestern University and decided to give it the treatment: brought it into ACR and made three "bracketed" shots and tonemapped them for a faux HDR effect. Then I brought it into Nik Silver Efex for the B&W, where I also added a bit of structure and targeted the sky for a touch of drama. This was also my first use of Content Aware Fill in Photoshop; I removed two car roofs from just behind the bushes towards the left of frame.
